I am a humorous, down to earth, honest and open-minded woman who would like to meet and to get to know someone to share the simple things and also the special moments. I am in the last stages of a PhD and have been working as an independent film-maker for a number of years.

I am fiercely independent, hard working and I'm full of determination however I love peace and tranquility. I am a wheelchair user with Cerebral Palsy but this does not affect my physically demanding lifestyle. After a hard day's work, either working from home or on location I would like to get out and chill out with someone special.

In my spare time I write poetry, keep up with current affairs, spend time with friends and family and often look after my little nephew.

I'm extremely interested in human right issues which will be the focus of my work after my PhD. Since I feel strongly about how people are made invisible by society.

Work aside I would love to meet someone who is compassionate, passionate, intelligent and enjoys chilling out. Someone who looks beneath the surface, has a good sense of humor and takes life in his stride.
